I'm Not Sure But I Think it's Snowing!

I think it's going to take me 3 hours to dig out my car. This was the FIRST round of snow. Since this picture was taken it's been raining ice for about 5 hours. On top of that tonight there is an expected 1-6 inches of snow......

I take that back, it may take me 6 hours to dig out my car tomarrow!

But hey, I had today off right?

Back to the Artic Freeze! I'll Miss You Palm Trees!

I'm so SAD! It's back to the normal grind! The normal 2 degree weather..the normal work over time, go to class, go home and crash in order to do it ALL again the next day. I'll miss LA where it's different. It's warm, there is no work, and there is only freedom and possiblities. I'll miss the palm trees, and the stars that seem to be around every corner even if it's on the movie billboards that seem so abundant. I'll miss the cute boys, the crazy times, the wonder of a far of land...

Agh. I gtg to bed now... gotta wake up early to see if i'm going to work or not big snow storm commin'! WOOOO....

The Rest of My Time In LA.

Sorry that Blogger was acting up the rest of the time I was in LA and was unable to write about our trip. Hum...where did i leave off....Okay.. So the next day we went to the NBC studio tour. We saw Willow from DAYS OF OUR LIVES when we were touring the Days set.

She seemed really nice but all she did was laugh at my cousin and said "hey!"



We went to the Doctor and it looks like after one procedure back in NC that needs to be done to make shannon fully ready to be a serogant we are good to go in July. Wow. In about a year or so I'll be a parent! CRAZY! Pictures are comming after shannon gets home from her westerward travels. She has all the pics. I can't wait to put them in the slide show down at the bottom of the page! Keep checkin' in to make sure you haven't missed them!

Over Sleeping, Eye Candy, and The Tonight Show..

When we got up for breakfast this morning and went right back to bed after we ate. Shannon didn't feel well...she had a little too much to drink the night before te he he.... We got up and out of the room by 1:30 ish. Had some good lookin' rocker dudes smile at me on my way to the car. Then because traffic here sucks we ended up at NBC by 2. We were wanting to go to a studio tour but when we went to guest relations they told us there was only one more tour at 3 and their wouldn't be a lot of sets open because they film in the afternoons. They did say that they had 2 last tickets to see the tonight show. He talked us in to seeing the tonight show again. Thankfully we didn't wait in line too long and because we knew Glozell (www.glozelllovesjayleno.blogspot.com) we were able to ask for a spot in line by her. Also right next to John and Johnny. Two very hot boys from Texas. They came here to be actors. They had a slight southern draw that they could turn on and off (at least from what i could tell) to increase their adorable southern charm. I've noticed more very cute boys here. Kinda nice to look at.
Honestly though, this city is built on looks, money, and things. Whatever looks good, feels good, and shows your status is fine. But then people do whatever it takes to get that it's crazy stuff man! I see men only wanting sex, women at the age of 60 having soo many face lifts they look plastic and nothing like what they should look like. All in the name of what? what do you get when you die if all this happens in your life? what is soo great about that kind of life?

IT'S nice to visit LA, it's nice to look at the attractive boys but really that's not what life should be about!
Nice doesn't get your desire for something better filled.
Nice doesn't fill that void.
Nice is not Love, Joy, nor Peace.

So... I had a blast!

ha ha ha! Wow today was a blast! we went to the taping of the Tonight Show today! Because we are smokin' hot we got to sit in the second row and shake jay leno's hand! We saw hugh grant who was about 5 feet away from me after the show. AND we got to see Norah Jones preform. IT's amazing but norah jones looks kinda bigger on TV but she is really small! Tiny really!

after driving around and eating at the IN-N-OUT we went to the comedy night down in the basement of the ramada. Met a cute bar tender named Shawn from Columbus. He grew up there and dated a girl from UA in highschool! He's a fun guy. May have to go visit him tomarrow! Alright sorry i'm not gunna write a lot but i am tired and will be asleep as soon as i pull down the covers and put my PJ's on! I just want to let you know I STILL GOT IT!

A View From the Smog...

Well, I made it to sunny California. Not just California but Hollywood CA, or if you prefer Beverly Hills (yes like 90210). As i was flying today i really was overwhelmed by how much love God has for all of us. It's always amazing to see the different cultures and people interact in an airport. Every time i fly i am amazed at how many people are in the world. What actually amazes me more is the careing,loving, compasionate God that has created all of us. I look down as we are flying over Kansas and see crop circles more than any develpment (kansas is even boring from the air!) but the people that are in the boonies of kansas are just as important as the people who live in the AMAZING Hills of Beverly 90210. The richest people who live in Cinci are just as important and loved as the people living under the bridges in LA. CrAzY how that works!

ANYWHO....

After I met up with my cousin Shannon at the Budget Car Rental place. Then telling my story to the budget car rental lady Joelle (who we easily befriended) we were on our way. With help from our Garmin GPS which within minutes we had nick named BI-OCH. WHY, you ask?! WELL....after being on highway 101 and in the right lane (b/c that's where the exits tend to be) the BI-OCH tells me " In .7 miles exit to the LEFT". If you ever been to LA you may know the traffic is HORRIBLE no matter what time of day it is. I had to get over 2 lanes in order to get to my exit. I didn't think i would make it. Thankfully people around the airport are not so abrupt as others in this city. They let me in and i was alright. Well it stuck and now it is known as the BI-OCH!

We traveled around and drove some amazinly wonderfuly winding roads and after realizing that Hollywood BLVD is only one turn away (and traveling about 40 min. across town to find that out) we were tired and ended up in bed by 7 pm Cali. time. Is it okay to go to bed by 7? Is that a illegal? seeing as how Shannon was asleep by 7:30 i guess it is legal. If its not please don't tell the police of cool kay? thanks!

Well since i have also been up alomst 24 hours it's time for me to go to sleep. I guess it is 12 back home. Yeah, i've been up for 20 hours. GOOD NIGHT MY LOVE! SEE YA ALL TOMARROW!
